“Ang Tunay Na Ako”
18 Jan 2011 Leave a Comment
Sa buwan ng Setyembre, ako’y isinilang
Sa baryo Naguilian, na aming tahanan
Hindi maipinta, tuwa ng magulang
At ako’y binigyang, Eunica na ngalan.
Matinding pagsubok, aming naranasan
Sa ‘king pagkabata’y, ‘di malilimutan
Ang pag-iwan sa ‘min, ng amang butihin
Pagkaulila’y, mahirap tanggapin.
Ako ang syang bunso, o ang ikalima
Sa aming pamilyang, ulila sa ama
Pero ‘di nagkulang maalagang ina
Basta para sa ‘min, lahat gagawin nya.
Sa aking paglaki, ako ay nag-aral
Sa elementarya’y, naging ‘sang pasaway
Natuto din naman, magagandang asal
At nakapagtapos, kamit ang tagumpay.
Pagdating sa hayskul, aking nasilayan
Ibang eskwelahan, aking pinasukan
Mga kaibigan, aking natagpuan
May tunay at tapat, may plastic din naman.
Maraming pangarap, aking inaasam
Pagiging accountant, gustong makamtan
“START OF SOMETHING NEW”

“New Year, New Life”, these are the words that we hear from people around us as 2011 came into our life.
Have you ever tried to flashback about the past year? Have you ever told to yourself this line, “the new me this 2011”? Have you thought for your plans this year?
Last 2010, there were so many things that I’ have done. There were so many things that happened in my life. There were mistakes I have committed and will serve as a lesson to me. I have done things that marked I my heart and mind. I’ve became “pasaway” last 2010.many obstacles entered my life. Those challenges made me strong and made me a better person. I learned many things from them. There were times that I wanted to give up but there were those people who comforted me during sadness. Those people who were always at my side in times of challenges.
I want to thank those people who always there for me-my family, true friends and relatives. I want also to say “sorry” for everything I’ve doe. I promise to myself that I will be a better person for this year, 2011.
Everything had happened for reason. God gave me challenges to make me a better person in the future. I know and I expect that there will be more challenges to come along my way, but for me, these will not be the hindrance for my success but I will classify those challenges as stepping stones to achieve my goals. This 2011, there will be a start of something new within me.
CHRISTMAS SEASON

Christmas is the birth of Jesus
It is the time for happiness.
Welcome the hands of everyone in our houses
As they welcome us in their hearts.
Santa Clause knocks the door in our isle,
This is what we’re waiting for,
To make children happy
And make their faces smile.
Forgive and forget…
These are the true essence of Christmas.
Forget the mountain of problems with one another
And just forgive everybody without any doubts.
Love one another as we love ourselves,
Love our enemies with all our hearts.
Hear the ring of the bell which awaken everyone’s eyes
As we welcome the Christmas in our towns.
CHRISTMAS EVE

Tang……Tang……Tang….. . This was the sound of the bell in our barangay chapel as we welcomed the Christmas eve.
We went to the chapel and attended the mass. It started very late. After the mass, we went home to have the Noche Buena. We were so very happy. My sister and I were chatting to each other while my brother, Kuya Eugene and his friends were eating. The surrounding was so noisy that time. There were so many fireworks. After we ate and had a long conversation between all the members of our family, we already slept.
My Christmas was so very happy. I hope that next Christmas season, I and my family will be happier.

DISCIPLINE IS IMPORTANT

In its most general sense, discipline refers to systematic instruction given to a discipline. To discipline thus means to instruct a person to follow a particular code of conduct “order.” Usually, the phrase ‘to discipline’ carries a negative connotation. This is because enforcement of order – that is, ensuring instructions are carried out – is oft “Discipline is the instant willingness and obedience to all orders, respect for authority, self reliance and teamwork. The ability to do the right thing even when no one is watching or suffer the consequences of guilt which produces pain in our bodies, through pain comes discipline.” –United States Marine Corps
To discipline thus means to instruct a person to follow a particular code of conduct or “order.” In the field of child development, discipline refers to methods of modeling character and of teaching self-control and acceptable behavior” (e.g. teaching a child to wash her/his hands before meals). Here, ‘washing hands before meals’ is a particular pattern of behaviour, and the child is being disciplined to adopt that pattern. ‘To disciple’ also gives rise to the word disciplinarian, which denotes a person who enforces order.
However, usually the phrase ‘to discipline’ carries a negative connotation. This is because of the need to maintain order – that is, ensuring instructions are carried out. Order is often regulated through punishment.
To be disciplined is then, subject to context, either a virtue (the ability to follow instructions well) or a euphemism for punishment (which may also be referred to as disciplinary procedure). As a concrete noun, the discipline refers to an instrument of punishment, for example in mortification of the flesh
An academic discipline refers to a body of knowledge that is being given to – or has been received by – a disciple. The term may then denotes a ‘sphere of knowledge’ that an individual has chosen to specialise in. In an institute of higher learning, the term ‘discipline’ is often a synonym of ‘faculty‘.
Another two years: Favor or not?

The new administration is planning to have an additonal two years in our education curriculum. Are you in favor to this plan?
I am not in favor to this plan. Nowadays, many Filipinos are no longer going to school. This is one of the major problems in our country. The main cause of this is financial problems. It is also because of the laziness of many students. Poverty is the main problem. So if they add another 2 years, the more expenses we will and the more problems we will encounter also.
They said that , they planned this for our additional knowledge. But for me, it depends to the students.
